A branch facility for Scott State Bank in Sullivan, IL, was constructed in 1999. Located on Illinois Route 121, the facilities arrangement is designed to allow efficient vehicular & pedestrian circulation on the site.
The guiding concept for this project was to provide a rich & warm setting to encourage public gathering in the lobby & sitting areas. A “Wrightian” design concept was used with the natural masonry materials, the exterior planter areas & wide roof eaves. A double side clerestory window allows natural light to permeate the interior lobby space & provide a sense of larger space.
